Project Overview
Nearly a year before the first section of sidewalk was removed or the first tree was planted, this project began with a shared vision: bringing new trees into downtown Randolph and investing in the long-term beauty and health of our community.
The Town of Randolph developed and released a bid for a downtown tree planting initiative aimed at expanding the town's urban canopy and enhancing the streetscape. Recognizing the value and importance of the project, Peter Butler of Strategic Vegetation Management and our team at Timber Pros Tree Works partnered together to submit a proposal. After being selected, the planning process began.
What followed was months of coordination, planning, and collaboration among numerous stakeholders. Multiple meetings were held with Town of Randolph officials and project partners to discuss the site locations, logistics, public safety considerations, and long-term goals for the project. The effort brought together a diverse group of individuals, including the Deputy Tree Warden, the Randolph Highway Department, the Police Department, our project teams, and many others who helped guide the project from concept to reality.
As a locally owned business based in Randolph, this project held special meaning for our team. We work in this community every day, and the opportunity to help shape the appearance of our downtown was something we were genuinely excited about. Rather than simply completing another project, we were helping create a lasting improvement that residents, visitors, and future generations will enjoy for decades to come.
From the beginning, the goal was straightforward: create new opportunities for trees to thrive within the downtown area while improving the overall appearance, character, and environmental health of Randolph. Through careful planning and collaboration, that vision has steadily taken shape and is now becoming a reality throughout the community.
